I'M PRETTY SURE WE ALL KNOW WHAT PANDAS ARE, BUT DO WE KNOW THAT THERE ARE DIFFERENT KINDS OF THEM? THE NAME "GIANT PANDA" IS SOMETIMES USED TO DISTINGUISH IT FROM THE RED PANDA , A NEIGHBORING MUSTELOID.  THIS IS A RED PANDA SO WHY ARE THEY ENDANGERED? PANDAS ARE ENDANGERED DUE TO HABITAT LOSSES...AND WHY IS THAT? BECAUSE OF US.PANDAS LIVE MAINLY IN CHINA, BUT DUE TO URBANISATION, THEY ARE LOSING THEIR HOMES. THE LAST SURVEY IN 2014 ESTIMATED THAT THERE ARE ONLY 1864 PANDAS LEFT IN THE WILD. AND THIS NUMBER KEEPS DROPPING. WHY DO PANDAS MATTER?
