Over 1 million marine creatures die each year! And the cause of it- garbage! Yes, the trash, debris and plastic that we humans throw into the sea is causing sea turtles to die.It is estimated that about 10 million tons of plastic is dumped into the oceans and the turtles mistake it for food! After checks, scientists found out that every single dead turtle had swallowed or been captured in plastic. to prevent this, try to minimise plastic use and use steel/metal straws ONLY. Remember, reduce, reuse and recycle!
